Ukraine Musings – 01/21/10
Following three hours of leadership training yesterday with pastors and leaders from the Pentecostal Union of churches in the Ukraine, Pastor Valeriy Alymov (missions director and former major in the Ukrainian army), presented me with a gift handmade by a pastor’s wife.
That evening as we drove together to minister at a church, he asked me a question that a number of leaders have asked over the last week and a half, “Do you plan to return to the Ukraine?” Leaders of both the Charismatic and Pentecostal movements have indicated their desire for me to return at a future date. Marie-José and I pray Psalm 90:17 on a daily basis: “May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us. Establish the work of our hands for us, yes, establish the work of our hands.” Truly I am grateful for the favor of God while in the nation of Ukraine.
Here are just a few pictures of what I have experienced while in the Ukraine. What do you think, should I return?
Until next time…
