Monday Musings 22/08/11

Just for laughs…

Monday Musings is back after taking a brief break.

Today’s blog is meant to provide you with a bit of fun to get your week started.

For those who know me, you know that I am always looking for things that have potential to become a great illustration. Make sure you watch both videos to get an idea of what I mean.

If you live in Canada, you can appreciate a TD bank commercial on television that shows two old men sitting on a bench in front of the bank. They talk about” how things have changed”. Every time I see the commercial I think of the church and how people struggle with “how things have changed”.

The following video is my interpretation of that commercial as it relates to the church.

For those who live in other parts of the world, you may appreciate what you are about to see. During my travels I have seen vehicles so overloaded that you want to laugh and pray at the same time. I never dreamed I would see it in Canada. You may want to view it more than once to get its full impact.

If you enjoyed these videos, feel free to pass them on. By the way, you should always have a camera with you because you never know when you will get the shot of a lifetime!

Until next Monday…

Don

Hey Don and Marie Josee! Your wife gets more beautiful everyday. Cute videos. You have both been having quite the adventure. My brother Art recently came back from a trip to Haiti. He is supporting an orphange there. Art did a video presentation at our church awhile back. All is well at Renaissance. Maybe we will see you in September. We are always praying for our Missionaries. Karen and the boys are fine.
    God Bless,
    Dave

PS..I hope nobody has been trying to sell you any stereo components lately!
