Just when you think there is nothing else to write about in a story, another chapter unfolds.

Some of you may have read our newsletter entitled “There Are No Words”.  In it, MJ and I tell the story of RTC’s (Reinventing the Church) partnership with a group of people who are planting a Chinese church in Chimbashi, Zambia.  Click on this link http://us1.campaign-archive1.com/?u=293f5e8ce529f771d45f93dac&id=a40b857693 to read the full story.

Since returning to Canada, I have been sharing the “There Are No Words” story in churches where we are speaking.  Just yesterday, I told the story at the end of my message.  Following the service, two ladies approached me with great enthusiasm.  One was Japanese and she introduced me to her Chinese friend.  It is only the second time that the Chinese lady has been in church.  She was not supposed to attend yesterday, but at the last-minute decided to come to church.  You can only imagine how thrilled she was to see Chinese words on the screen, listen to a thirty-second video clip of a Chinese worship song and of course, hear the story of a Chinese church plant in Zambia.

I asked her if she has entered into a personal relationship with Jesus. Her honest response was refreshing.  She said she is hearing about Jesus from her friends and is very open to Him, but because of the Buddhist background of her family, she is cautiously searching.  Then, she proceeded to tell about a dream that she had several months ago.  I will not give the details of the dream in order to respect her privacy, however, she did tell me that she thinks Jesus was in her dream.  We prayed together, and she left for home.  Friends in the church have assured me that they will continue to stay in touch with her, and I have no doubt that Jesus will be the center of her heart real soon.

Just when you think there is nothing more to tell, God gives another piece of the story to remind that He is still at work.  I have no idea what is going to happen next, but I do know that God is at work in China, Zambia, Canada and around the world.  What an exciting day to be part of His Story!!!

Until next Monday…

Don
