From Conception to Culmination

img_1058In April 2015, while sipping on cappuccino’s in a coffee shop in Nairobi, Kenya, Bill Pipke and I talked about the concept of a movement of integrity across Africa. Twenty months later, a concept has culminated in a reality.

Eight months of writing led to the printing of 3,000 “Commissioning a Lifestyle of Integrity” Manuals in which the six pillars of integrity are introduced (influence, trust, honor, dignity, truth and authenticity).  This past week, hours and months of meetings over Skype culminated in our very first CLI Summit in Monrovia, Liberia. Over the next three weeks, we will conduct Summits in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Kenya. In 2017, at least three more countries will be added to the Summit schedule.

CLI (Commissioning a Lifestyle of Integrity) is not another anti-corruption program, it is a pro-integrity lifestyle. Men and women gather from every sphere of society (mountains of influence) and walk through the six pillars of integrity with facilitators, followed by discussion in their cohort groups. Ultimately, at the end of the Summit, they are challenged to commit to a lifestyle of integrity. Those who commit become responsible to mentor ten others in their mountain of influence by walking them through the six pillars of integrity.img_1144

Today, I will let the pictures paint a thousand words.

Until next time…
