Don and his wife Marie-José (MJ) are Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada Global Workers. They live in Pretoria, South Africa. Responding to a call from National leaders, they spend a majority of their time in Africa, encouraging, equipping, and empowering leaders to finish strong and become agents of change in their local church and community.
Don also travels in Canada conducting leadership seminars and speaking at churches, camps, and conferences. His journey has included pastoring Evangel Pentecostal Church in downtown Montreal, Church Ministries Director for the Eastern Ontario and Quebec District, terms on the executives of both the Eastern Ontario and Quebec districts as well as Master’s College & Seminary Board of Governors. He has also served on the General Executive of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.
Commissioning a Lifestyle of Integrity (CLI) addresses corruption across Africa that some African leaders have suggested is as deadly as the AIDS virus. Don and Bill Pipke are partnering to develop a movement of integrity. The plan is to see over 700,000 people commit to a lifestyle of integrity over a period of seven years in every country CLI impacts. CLI is not another anti-corruption program, it is a pro-integrity lifestyle.
Chitenge Creations is a micro-enterprise project created by Marie-José. It is restoring dignity and generating stability for women in South Africa. Most recently, Chitenge Creations opened its first sewing School in Pretoria. The goal is to take the school to the surrounding townships, where 62% of South Africans live.
